Data at Rest
We utilize Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database service, hosted on highly secure cloud infrastructure. All data stored within our databases, including backups, is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption (via AWS KMS). This ensures that even in the highly unlikely event of physical hardware compromise, your data remains irretrievable without the necessary decryption keys.
Data in Transit
Every interaction you have with TrackMyRupee is secured. We enforce strict HTTPS connections for all traffic between your browser or device and our servers. Additionally, all connections between our application servers and our Supabase database are securely encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security), preventing any interception, tampering, or eavesdropping of your sensitive financial information as it travels across the internet.
Automated Backups
Your data's availability and durability are critical. We leverage Supabase's automated database backup systems to securely back up our database architecture daily. These backups are stored in geographically redundant locations and enable data recovery in the highly unlikely event of data corruption or a catastrophic system failure.
Privacy First
We are an indie-developed tool built to provide value, not to farm data. We explicitly pledge never to sell your personal or financial data to third-party advertisers or brokers. Your data is analyzed solely by our internal engine to provide you with insights, charts, and forecasts. You maintain ownership of your data at all times.
